I see design everywhere, it is a part of who I am, right down to how I plan cooking, picking which book I'm going to buy next, to how I want to refinish my motorcycle build - it's all about design and function.

It’s a new year! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and you are well on your way to diving into the new year.
Here are this year’s first downloads. Two quotes that I love. One from Cinderella and one from one of my favorite bands, Mumford and Sons.

There is nothing better than an unexpected visit from friends or family, but in those moments the Italian in me screams "feed everyone!" This simple sugar cookie recipe is the perfect quick snack for friend and family to enjoy and there aren't any hidden ingredients, these base ingredients are usually always in my fridge or cupboard! After teaching workshops over the last couple years, I experience such a high immediately after the workshops. It’s exciting for me to share a passion and know that you and so many others are interested in.
Quickly after the high, I realize I want to keep you encouraged in your practice and provide a tool to keep your hand lettering growth fun and challenging. In order to keep in touch with all my students, I’m beginning a monthly download subscription. The best part, it is free!
I’ll be emailing 2-3 sheets of quotes, tags, compositions and anything in-between once a month. When I email them, I’ll also let you know what pen(s) I used for each piece.
This month’s quotes are two 5”x7” quotes, one to highlight the changing weather, the other was a Facebook request. I created both of these pieces with a Tombow Dual Brush pen (I used both ends!).
